Replacing Mouse Device

Some of computer users around the world still use the old fashioned mouse device that has a ball in it. Eventually, the dusts accumulate inside the mouse which prevents the ball to roll freely. In this regard, replacing it with an optical can be a wise move.



Here’s a hint on how to replace your mouse device


If your CPU utilizes the PS2 mouse port, you need a PS2 to USB Connector/AdapterUSB Slot


a. If your new mouse is designed to use a USB interface, simply plug your new mouse in the USB Slot that can be located at the back of your CPU



b. If your new mouse is not USB, shutdown your computer first.c. Unplug your current moused. Plug your new mouse in the PS2 or USB slote. Start your PC, and its now ready to use


Note: if your OS is Windows 98 you need to install the driver for your new mouse.
